Gado-gado(Indonesian Salad) Recipe
Ingredients
1. 150-200 gram of tofu
2. 150-200 gram of fermented soybean(tempe)
3. 3 pieces of boiled egg
4. 160 gram of bean sprouts
5. 150-200 gram of lettuce
6 . 150 gram of long beans , cut into small pieces and wash it
7. a peeled cucumber
8. 150 gram of cabbage
9. 7 pieces of smoothed garlic
10. 280 gram of peanut powder
11. a few Cayenne pepper
12. 500 ml of coconut milk
13. 3 tablespoons of tamarind water
14. Lime leaves of approximately 4-5 sheet
15. 50-60 gram of palm sugar
16. Salt to taste
17. Coriander to taste
18. Cooked water
19. Cooking oil
How to make a peanut sauce :
while you make sauce you can boil the vegetables first,
1. First , prepare a frying pan
2. Second , enter the smoothed garlic , cayenne pepper and lime leaves .
3. Third, enter the coconut milk , stir it until evenly mixed
4. Next , enter the peanut powder then stir it again
5. After that , enter the tamarind water and palm sugar and again stir it
6. Then, enter the salt to taste , stir it until you smell the aroma
7. Next step is fried the tofu and tempe(fermented soybean)
8. Next, puree the garlic and coriander
9. Then , add the water and salt to taste
10. Last , serve the boiled vegetables , tofu, tempe , and pour the peanut sauce suit one's taste
